Happy Sunday! Today has caused me to reflect on how much I need his strength.. And his arms. His unconditional love is all I need. On another note, I always get asked about my hair. Too much Starbuckssssss

I'm sure you just read the title and thought, Um nope. But it's true! I had a almost black iced coffee at 9, and then another black coffee with caramel at 4. So basically I'm sitting in my hotel at 2:30 am., solving all the worlds problems. I wish... Even though I just watched this creepy documentary on history channel about dumping oil into the coast of Florida. (Basically I'm never going Into the ocean again) And that was completely unrelated.. My mind is like a blender I swear. I really want pizza right now too.. Ever had those nights where you rethink every decision and thing you didn't say or do? ( I kind of wish I had bought this Michael kors black trench I saw last week) I'm having one of those! Maybe I'm just overly introspective y'all .. (I got that from my southern friend. I'm as New York as they come) My favorite quote, or one of them is by C.S Lewis, where he says "There are much, much better things ahead, than any we may leave behind". Or something like that. I just hope for the grace and strength to let go of those things that aren't meant for me. I recently quit my job because of a harassment issue, and I have to admit I was very mad. Mad at God, I really thought this was the perfect job, and I had just been Promoted. I thought why now???? I thought this was your plan? Do you ever think we convince ourselves that things are right for us because we want them to be so badly? But after three days of pouting and remembering how much I hated filling out applications, someone told me that sometimes God pulls us out of situations because he knows how much worse it is going to get. Maybe that was my situation! You never know. Well, I should probably try to sleep, at least a little ... Xoxoxoxoxoxoxo, Gold.

I'm currently in a parking lot right near the coast of Delaware, so I thought I'd drop a line. (type a line?) My church sings this song that's been stuck in my head all dayyyyyyyy. It's called withholding nothing my William Mcdowell, and I love it. But the basic message in it is to give everything you have to God. Surrendering all. Because I have to admit, I'm a control freak. I hate having people do things for me, and I am a firm believer in if you want it done right, you've got to do it yourself!!!! But there's a peace that passes ALL understanding that comes with giving it to God. Trying to plan and perfect everything yourself is a exhausting task that is just too much! In the past year I have grown up and really realized that it's not my plan, or my life, it's His. Because when I gave him the reins when I got baptized, I gave all that up, not planned on taking them right back. I had a 5- year plan and everything I wanted to do perfectly planned out. But one church service I realized that I had been running from his voice, not willing to really do what He wanted me too. Ever since then this song had been my prayer, that I would literally have every area and feeling in my life completely open to His light and call. XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO, Pure Gold.

I love this quote so much. True unconditional love is this I think. Pure love to me is not what they can offer us, but what we can offer them without wanting anything in return. The greatest example of this in my opinion is Jesus. He died knowing fully that most likely we would not reciprocate. What a staggering thought. In life its hard to let go. People change and sometimes outgrow us in their life. Though people tell you a lot to hold on, salvage that relationship that you're losing, but sometimes it's much stronger to not run after that thing that might be bad for you.  Just rambling!!! First I want to say that I'm super all over the place, so I apologize in advance!
To start off, I'm going to list 10 facts about me for you to get to now me better.

1. I am absolutely addicted to sushi. Like legit.
2. I adore really fast cars and my dream one is a 2014 blacked out Gallardo Lambo. (I need to start robbing banks, no joke)
3. My favorite color to wear is black, I like to pretend I'm Audrey Hepburn.
4. I have my Wilton cake decorator certification, do I use it?? Nooooppppeee.
5. I am apostolic!!!!
6. My favorite thing to do is read poetry while drinking chai. Yes, I have hipster tendencies.
7. I like country, like real country.
8. I cant resist the smell of old books and rubber. (Don't ask)
9. My favorite place to travel is anywhere there is a beach.
10. I'm a cat person. I plan to have 27 of them. Yup, I'm that girl.
